Trainee Service Engineer

Description:

An established business is looking for a Trainee Service Engineer to join its team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in a practical and technical environment. Full training and ongoing development will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone keen to learn and progress.

Based in the field this position is predominantly covering Aylesbury to London, but the company is nationwide so travel will be required as necessary. We are looking for someone based round Thame to work alongside an existing team member, the standard hours will be 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required to meet the business needs. Offering £27,000 per annum.

Duties:

* Assist with servicing and basic maintenance

* Complete inspections

* Support basic remedial works

* Identify potential issues

* Complete electronic reports and service records accurately

* Work alongside experienced engineers on customer sites

* Deliver a professional service to customers

Experience:

* Genuine interest in developing a practical and technical career

* Willingness to learn new skills and gain further qualifications

* Good communication skills with strong attention to detail

* Professional and reliable approach to work

* Confident using mobile devices and tablets

* Ability to work independently once trained

* Full UK driving licence

* Previous industry experience is not essential

You must be happy travelling to customer sites and undertaking potential overnights as required by the business.
