If you are reading an advert for Trainee Recruitment Consultant, there is a good chance you have two key motivators.
1. The desire to learn how to become an expert recruiter.

I guess everyone tells you they have a great training programme, but have you really found out how good it is? Have you spoken to anyone in the company who has successfully completed their first 3 months?
We will ensure that part of your interview process is a meeting with consultants who have been through the formal comprehensive training programmes we provide. You should probably ask them other stuff as well. Culture, environment, leadership team, commission. It all matters, and you need to know before choosing where to spend your days. You will already be sitting in our spacious offices in the countryside so if you are expecting, noise, concrete edifices, stairs, paid parking and a cramped working environment you will probably be wondering where they all are.
Sounds good, doesn’t it? It is. But what will you need to bring to ensure you are successful with us? How about letting you know what we look for in an interview while you are assessing us and our businesses?
* Attitude: Do you want to work hard to achieve the industry leading commissions on offer? It can be tough and you will need to draw on a resilient nature to keep moving forward.
* Intellect: We work with some very bright people. Clients, candidates and consultants. We will want to ensure you are committed to continue learning to be an expert rather than just to be able to get by.
* Communication: Recruitment is about finding, engaging with and listening to people. If you have had experience proactively calling people in any role previously, that will serve you well.
