* Supporting the preparation of tenders, quotations and estimates.

* Assisting with valuations, variations and cost reporting.

* Working with subcontractors and suppliers.

* Supporting the commercial team with contract administration.

* Attending occasional site visits.

* Developing your knowledge of construction contracts, procurement and commercial management.

* Working closely with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

About You

This position would suit a university graduate looking to begin a career in Quantity Surveying, or someone who has a genuine interest in construction and has 1–2 years' relevant experience.

You will ideally have:

* A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related subject (although this is not essential for the right candidate).

* Some previous experience within construction would be advantageous.

* A genuine interest in developing a career within quantity surveying.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Good numerical and organisational skills.

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* A full UK driving licence – essential.

* The willingness to work from the Brierley Hill office five days per week.

What's on Offer?

* Salary of up to £32,000, depending on experience.

* Full training and ongoing professional development.

* Clear career progression opportunities.

* Exposure to a diverse range of construction projects.

* Supportive working environment.

* Opportunity to develop into a fully qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor.

* Permanent position with a growing and established construction business.

If you're looking to take the next step in your construction career and want to join a business that will invest in your development and provide genuine progression opportunities, we'd be keen to hear from you
