This is an opportunity for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join a developer and become degree educated whilst working on live projects.
About the role of Trainee Quantity Surveyor
Your role as Trainee will be to support the commercial team on new build care home projects, managing initially smaller packages from procurement through to final accounting. Working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, measurements of packages are carried out and assisting with paperwork.
Requirements for Trainee Quantity Surveyor
The company are looking for a candidate who is early in there career, who is keen to join a business and learn with experienced staff and who is enthusiastic, willing and keen to learn and who ideally have the following:
Maths and English GCSE
CSCS Card Knowledge
A-Level/ HNC in a construction related subjectThe company:
The company are a well established developer who specialise in the construction on new build care homes, predominately under traditional build and low rise apartment blocks. They have 3 new projects starting from this office in the next 6 months and would like this person to come in and work closely with the Senior surveyor based between office and sites.
