Are you a Graduate looking for your first role in engineering? Do you have a qualification in mechanical engineering? Are you interested in progressing into a quality / process position?
We are looking for a Trainee Quality Inspector to join a long-standing engineering company based in the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk.
This is a permanent opposition paying a starting salary up from £25,000 per annum
This position will offer full training as well as excellent long term career opportunities.
Quality Inspector duties include: -
Testing & Inspection of products using specialist equipment and tools to ensure that the products are safe for use.
Work closely with engineers to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
Maintain detailed records of inspection results including measurements.
Evaluate the quality of incoming materials and components from suppliers.
Candidate Requirements: -
Will come from a Technical & Engineering background.
An NVQ/Diploma or equivalent in relevant field
Proficient user of Microsoft Office
Ability to work well individually and within a team.
Must be able to read from technical drawings
Good user of inspection tools and equipment
Though this is a trainee role, we are only accepting candidates with the relevant qualifications.
