In this role, you will support the planning, delivery, and completion of various projects under the guidance of senior project management staff. This position offers excellent learning and development opportunities for someone looking to build their project management skills and gain hands-on experience.
Main Duties:
* Assist in creating and updating project plans, including schedules and task assignments.
* Help coordinate project tasks and follow up with team members on their progress.
* Participate in project planning meetings and learn how to develop comprehensive project plans.
* Assist in preparing project documentation such as meeting notes, status updates, and reports.
* Learn effective communication techniques and documentation practices from senior staff.
* Help facilitate communication among project team members and stakeholders.
* Support the identification and tracking of project risks and issues.
* Work with senior project managers to develop risk mitigation plans.
* Participate in risk assessment workshops and learn risk management strategies.
* Help gather feedback from stakeholders to improve project outcomes.
* Learn quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
* Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses under the supervision of senior staff.
* Help senior staff to prepare financial summaries and cost tracking reports.
* Support senior project managers in maintaining financial documentation.
* Gain insights into budget management and cost control techniques.
* Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
* Support the adherence to health and safety regulations and guidelines across all project activities.
* Assist in conducting health and safety audits and inspections under the guidance of senior project managers.
* Help prepare health and safety reports and documentation.
* Participate in health and safety training sessions and workshops.
* Learn and promote best practices in health and safety management to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Required Skills and Abilities:
The successful candidate should have a keen interest in a career in Project Management
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Previous experience in a project support or coordination role is advantageous but not required.
