Trainee Printer

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Printer for our newest client in the Llanymynech area. This will be a temporary to permanent position with a starting rate of £11.44 per hour. The working hours are as follows:

* Monday – Friday

* 09.00 – 17.00

Roles and responsibilities

* Maintaining print machines and dryers, making sure they are in good clean working order.

* Inspecting of goods in production for printing and manufacturing faults

* Setting up digital printers to then operate for production.

* Prioritising workload

* Keeping accurate counts of goods

* Maintain a safe working environment.

* Set up and operate screen printing presses.

* Check colour levels to ensure high quality of printing and consistency with standard.

* Developing printing techniques to suit new designs and products.

* Carry out duties in a purposeful manner and cheery disposition.

* Record production and reject data on production systems.

Qualification and experience

* Full training will be provided.

* Numerate with basic level IT competence
