Trainee MIG Welder
Fantastic opportunity for the right individual to be upskilled to perform welding tasks within a company that has over 25 years manufacturing experience producing stillages, skips, A-Frames and similar products predominantly for the waste industry.
If you have welding skills but no qualifications or your out of work interests include some basic welding experience then we would love to hear from you. A basic knowledge or interest in welding and similar background would be suitable.
The role is a Temp to Permanent opportunity and involves working Monday to Friday 06:00:- 14:00 or Monday to Thursday 14:00- Midnight.
With a pay rate of £12.00 per hour with a view to increasing in line with training achievements.
You will support the existing team, learning from them and ensuring they are provided with raw materials and the products they require to perform their tasks quickly & efficiently. Carrying out all tasks requested associated to the role, this will include keeping the work area clean and tidy and free of any potential risks, moving stock and completing paperwork.
We are seeking a candidate with a trainable attitude, great attendance and desire to learn, who can use their own initiative as well as follow instructions provided.
A basic knowledge of Health & Safety and some manufacturing or Engineering experience would be beneficial.
