This position would be great for individuals who have recently graduated with an engineering degree and are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, hands-on environment. The training programme is meticulously designed to guide you through the nuances of machining, ensuring you gain proficiency and confidence in operating state-of-the-art machinery.

As a Trainee Machinist, you will be introduced to a variety of techniques and processes that are essential to the lighting manufacturing sector.

The role would involve learning how to set / operate and programme the below:

CNC Lathes x2
CNC Lathe with Y axis
Mazak 5 axis mill
Faunc for all Haas machines
You will also learn Fusion 360 software CAD/CAM side of manufacturing as well as learn to read and interpret technical drawings, perform precise measurements, and master the art of shaping materials to exact specifications. The role is not just about operating equipment; it's about understanding the science behind each task, ensuring quality and efficiency.

No prior experience in machining is necessary, as the comprehensive training will equip you with all the tools needed to excel. However, a keen interest in engineering principles, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning will set you apart.
