About the Role of Machine Operator :

As a Trainee Machine Operator, you will receive comprehensive training in:

CNC Machine Operation
Alphacam Software
Manufacturing with Aluminium Components
Reading Production DrawingsKey Responsibilities of Machine Operator :

Operate CNC machines to fabricate various sign structures.
Maintain high standards of quality control.
Organize jobs and manage associated paperwork.
Innovate and contribute ideas to improve manufacturing processes.Requirements:

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Good health and strong character.
Willingness to work shifts and regular overtime.
Reliable, flexible, and eager to learn.
Ability to commute to Normanton (main bus routes available; free car parking provided).Shift Pattern:

Early Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Late Shift: 9:30am to 6:00pm (Monday to Thursday), 7:00am to 3:30pm (Friday)
Opportunity for overtime, including Saturday mornings, paid at time and a half.Training and Development:

Full training provided in CNC machine operation, Alphacam software, and other essential skills.
Health & Safety and working systems training.
Potential to complete a Level 2 NVQ in Signmaking.Salary:
