A small yet fast-growing consultancy, based in Manchester is currently seeking a Trainee Fire Risk Assessor to join its dedicated team covering the Northwest. This is a great opportunity for a trainee looking to work closely alongside seasoned professionals and also be given the freedom to take control of their own assessments across a variety of sectors within a supportive learning environment.
The Trainee Fire Risk Assessor's Role
The Trainee Fire Risk Assessor will be joining a company that is one of the fastest growing consultancies in the North, with a highly esteemed training structure. The company employ a number of highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Risk Assessors who work alongside Trainee Fire Risk Assessors to provide them with a comprehensive overview of the Risk Assessors role and provide them with a close working relationship in which they can learn on the job.
The company operates across a variety of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Healthcare and Education, however, currently have a focus on a number of large high-end residential projects which will be the focus initially for the Trainee Fire Risk Assessor.
The Trainee Fire Risk Assessor and mentor will be responsible for carrying out detailed Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments. This position is about more than just risk assessment; it's about upholding the highest safety and compliance standards across numerous projects, making a real difference in the communities we support.
The Trainee Fire Risk Assessor
Degree or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
