We are recruiting for an entry level Trainee Engineering Role within a Poole based Engineering business. If you have a keen interest in engineering or simply enjoy working with your hands then read on.
In this Trainee Engineering role within an engineering business, you could be working in several different positions ranging from machine operating to inspection to assembly. You’ll be given training in the use of various tools and/or any machines you’ll be running. You’ll be taught what you need to know dependant on position.
You'll benefit from working alongside veteran team members, learning and developing on the job becoming an expert within your field, as well as:

The responsibilities for this Trainee Engineering Role include:
Manual handling, such as operating, setting up and loading machinery
Welding by hand and operating a welding machine
Plating and anodising of components
Basic inspection and quality checks
Working with specifications
General factory operative duties
The successful trainee will have:
A genuine desire to learn
Confidence in using hand and power tools
Previous experience within an engineering environment (desirable)
The ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients
Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Good work history
