Description:

Our client in Sittingbourne is seeking a Trainee CNC Miller; the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT when required .
The role is available due to pending retirement so full training will be given. The role would suit anyone with CNC machining knowledge or desire to learn or a background in another engineering discipline – machine operating etc.
Making parts for machine building/production
Job Title: Trainee CNC Miller
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: from £13.00 per hour, depending on skill level
Hours: 7.30am to 4pm (Friday 3pm finish)
39 hour week
OT paid at time and a half, when required
Training given
* 3 axis Haas machines.
* CAD/CAM programming
CNC Miller skills to be taught
* Heidenhain Controls
* Setting / Operating / Programming
* How to understand engineering drawings
* Training is the use of cutting tools
The CNC Miller will learn how to work with a variety of materials - aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc
