Trainee CAD Designer job – Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate 2D technical drawings in line with company standards.

Support the creation and maintenance of electrical panel designs, schematic drawings and technical documentation.

*

Assist with drawing revisions, updates and version control processes.

*

Develop an understanding of wiring diagrams, general arrangement drawings and engineering standards.

*

Complete structured in-house training to build knowledge of products, processes and industry requirements.

*

Work closely with the CAD Design Team to deliver accurate and high-quality design documentation.

Trainee CAD Designer job – Skills & Experience

Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification such as T-Level, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.

*

Interest in developing a career within CAD design and electrical engineering.

*

Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical principles would be beneficial.

Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks would be advantageous.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation skills.
