Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading packaging company in their search for a Trainee Auto-Electrician to work in their leading facility in Ellesmere.

For the successful Trainee Auto-Electrician, our client is offering:

Competitive salary paying up to £31,000 per annum depending on experience
Monday to Friday - 8am-5:15pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays - 40 hours per week
Permanent position
Overtime is paid at time/half over standard hours.

Trainee Auto-Electrician Job Duties:

Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on new commercial vehicles, while observing all statutory and legal requirements
Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Working with a more experienced Auto Electrician
What our client is looking for in a Trainee Auto-Electrician:

Knowledge of electrical vehicle maintenance standards required for HGV operation.
City & Guilds Part 3 in motor vehicles studies or similar would be advantageous
Experienced in the diagnostic, electrical repair, and maintenance of all types of large and small commercial vehicles and bodies
Working knowledge of Health and Safety and its impact in vehicle repair operations
Our client is looking for somebody who has Wiring or Electrical based knowledge
Knowledge / Interest of Vehicles
Key skills or similar Job titles as a Trainee Auto-Electrician:

Trainee Auto Electrician / Junior Auto Electrician / Auto Electrician / Trainee HGV Electrician / Wiring / Trainee Wirer
