Are you a junior Accounts or Finance Assistant looking for a new opportunity? Or looking for your first step into the world of finance? Does working in a modern, inclusive office environment sound like somewhere you would thrive?
I am pleased to be exclusively partnered with a growing, distribution business based in Stoke-on-Trent, looking to add a new full time, permanent Trainee Assistant Accountant to their Finance team due to growth within the business. The successful Trainee Assistant Accountant will possess a bubbly personality and a willingness to learn! You will be based in their lovely new offices only 3 days per week, with a number of days and hours you can use per annum for flexibility and a salary circa £20,000 - £23,000 per annum + AAT study support.
Trainee Assistant Accountant Role:
Assist in Production of Monthly Management Accounts including P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with the forecast/budget preparation
Monthly forecast update with actuals
Liaising with budget holders to assist with budgetary control
Production of daily and monthly financial reports
Completion of monthly board report information
National Statistics submissions
Supplier Audit
Sales invoicing
Petty cash managementA bit about you:
Working toward AAT qualification
Have the desire to grow and progress in a more varied accounting position
Enthusiastic and positive with an eagerness to help
Strong written and verbal communication skills
