Description:

Our client is a leading provider of integrated facilities management and building services, is seeking a diligent and responsible Traffic Marshall to join our team. As a Traffic Marshall, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic within our client's premises. We are looking for an individual who is highly attentive, proactive, and has a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

Direct and manage the flow of vehicles, pedestrians, and equipment within the designated work areas, following established traffic management plans.
Safely guide vehicles and equipment during loading, unloading, and manoeuvring operations to prevent accidents and congestion.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with drivers, contractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth traffic coordination and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at strategic locations, utilising appropriate signalling devices and equipment to direct traffic safely and efficiently.
Monitor and enforce compliance with traffic management regulations, including speed limits, parking restrictions, and designated routes.
Identify potential hazards or risks related to traffic flow and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Provide clear and concise instructions to drivers and pedestrians, promoting a culture of safety and awareness.Requirements:

Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of traffic management principles and best practices.
Excellent knowledge of relevant traffic regulations, signs, and signals.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and guidance to drivers and pedestrians in a professional manner.
Keen attention to detail and the ability to remain focused in high-pressure situations.
A proactive and safety-conscious mindset, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks promptly.
Physical stamina and flexibility to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid traffic marshal certification and any additional relevant qualifications are preferred but not essential.
