Traffic Marshall – Bristol Airport
City Calling is recruiting an experienced Traffic Marshall to work at Bristol Airport.
Hours: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Position: Traffic Marshall
Role Overview
The Traffic Marshall will be responsible for managing the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians around the construction site. The role requires a safety-conscious and reliable individual who can control vehicle access, assist with deliveries and ensure all site traffic movements are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Direct and control the movement of vehicles entering, leaving and moving around the site.
*
Safely guide reversing vehicles and assist drivers with manoeuvring in restricted areas.
*
Manage vehicle and pedestrian movements to maintain a safe working environment.
*
Assist with deliveries and ensure vehicles are directed to the correct unloading areas.
*
Communicate clearly with drivers, site personnel and management.
*
Maintain safe access routes and report any obstructions or hazards.
*
Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
*
Report accidents, incidents, near misses or safety concerns to site management.
*
Follow all site health and safety procedures and traffic management plans.
Requirements / Qualifications
*
Valid right to work in the UK.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification.
*
Previous experience working on a construction site.
*
Able to provide five years of checkable work history.
*
Able to provide five years of residential address history.
*
Satisfactory DBS check.
*
Must be willing to undertake regular drug and alcohol testing.
*
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious, with good communication skills.
