Description:

We are currently recruiting an experienced traffic marshall / gateman for a long-term commercial project in the Broadford area of the Isle of Skye.

Working alongside a leading main contractor, you will be the main point of contact at the site entrance. You will play a vital role in managing site logistics, controlling vehicle access, and ensuring the safety of workers, delivery drivers, and members of the public around the site perimeter.

Responsibilities:

Safely directing and marshalling heavy plant, delivery lorries, and site traffic entering and exiting the site.
Managing the main site gate, logging all incoming deliveries, visitors, and contractors.
Maintaining strict pedestrian and vehicle segregation in and around the site access points.
Communicating effectively with delivery drivers and site management via two-way radio.
Assisting with general gatehouse duties and ensuring the site entrance remains clean, clear, and organised.

Role Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
Valid Traffic Marshall (CPCS, NPORS, or recognised equivalent).
Previous experience managing site access and traffic on commercial or major civil construction sites.
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/vest, steel toe cap boots).
Strong communication skills, assertive attitude towards site safety, and high reliability.
Based on the Isle of Skye or able to commute to Broadford reliably for daily shifts.
