About the Role:
As a Trading Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring, analysis, and operation of the trading platform as well as supporting the wider trading team. This position is ideal for both experienced professionals and recent graduates with a passion for trading and analytics.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring and operating trading platforms 24/7 on a shift rota which includes changing days and weekend work
*
Identify and rectify inconsistencies, errors, and unusual activities promptly.
*
Gain deep insights into customer, counterparty, and market behavior.
*
Engage in ad-hoc communication with traders, counterparties, and trading venues.
*
Troubleshoot issues throughout the trade cycle.
*
Collaborate closely with developers and traders to enhance platform performance.
Applicant Requirements:

Education: BSc degree, preferably in a mathematical or scientific discipline
*
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*
Adaptability: Quick learner with the ability to grasp new applications swiftly
*
Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a high degree of numeracy, including an understanding of probabilities
*
Flexibility: Comfortable managing different time zones and currencies, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends
*
Organizational Skills: Structured approach to work with excellent communication skills
*
Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred but not required
*
Interpersonal Skills: Strong team player with a mature, responsible attitude
*
Initiative: Self-starter with a proactive approach to both ongoing and new projects
