We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Trade Counter & Stock Assistant to join a busy plumbing merchants in Denton.
This is a permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, keeping stock organised and helping ensure the day-to-day running of the trade counter is smooth and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting customers and assisting them at the trade counter
* Answering customer queries and helping identify the products they need
* Checking deliveries and ensuring stock levels are accurate
* Organising and maintaining stock within the warehouse
* Picking and preparing orders for customers
* Keeping the trade counter and stock areas clean, tidy and organised
* Supporting the wider team with general duties as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a trade counter, stockroom, warehouse or customer service role would be beneficial
* Plumbing or building materials knowledge would be an advantage
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Organised, reliable and able to work as part of a team
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
