Location: Bristol
Salary: £30-36,000
A leading, award-winning planning and design practice is looking to appoint a Town Planning Consultant to join its growing team in Bristol. The practice works across a broad range of sectors and scales, helping to deliver new communities, regenerate towns and cities, and support the infrastructure needed for sustainable economic growth and climate resilience.
Responsibilities
Deliver planning projects across varied sectors.
Prepare planning applications and strategies.
Undertake policy research and site appraisals.
Support planning committees, appeals and hearings.
Manage projects, programmes and budgets.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Provide clear planning advice and reports.
Support bids, tenders and business development.
Requirements
Relevant planning degree and postgraduate qualification.
Sufficient UK planning experience.
Working towards or holding MRTPI.
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Interest in placemaking and sustainable development.
Experience in multidisciplinary teams.
Strong organisation and project management skills.
Collaborative and proactive approach.
