Job Title: Planning Consultant

Location: East Sussex
Salary: £30,000/£40,000
Hours: Full-time or part-time considered

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and growing independent rural, property and environmental consultancy based in East Sussex. The company works with an interesting and varied client base, including family farms, landed estates, property developers and international investors, providing a wide range of planning and development advice.

MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
Experience across a broad range of planning matters and application types.
Experience preparing and managing planning applications and appeals.
Experience preparing representations in response to planning policy consultations.
A strong understanding of the UK planning system and current planning policy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing workloads.
A proactive, personable and commercially minded approach.
Full UK driving licence.Desirable: Experience in minerals and waste planning, Environmental Permitting, tender preparation or project management.
