Salary: £35,000/£40,000
Penguin Recruitment are currently working with a well established and growing planning consultancy based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to develop their career within a consultancy focused on strategic land, residential, commercial and renewable energy projects, gaining exposure to a varied range of planning work and working alongside experienced professionals.
The Role
Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
Undertaking planning research and providing planning advice
Assisting with a variety of residential, commercial, strategic land and renewable energy projects
Working collaboratively with clients, consultants and planning authorities
Developing your professional and commercial planning skillsRequirements
RTPI-accredited planning degree
Strong research and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A proactive, adaptable and creative approach
Motivation to learn and develop within consultancy
