Toolmaker / Toolroom Machinist
Southwell, Nottinghamshire (Commutable from: Nottingham, Newark-on-Trent, Mansfield, Grantham, Lincoln, Worksop, Derby, Loughborough
£37,000 - £40,000 + Training + Long-Term Stability + Overtime + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday
37.5hours, 2 weeks on nights 2 weeks days , Days: 7- 15:30 (Mon - Thu) and 7-12:30 Friday. Nights are 3:30pm until 2:00am (Mon - Wed), then 3:30pm until 11:30pm Thursday

In this role you will manufacture precision consumable tooling to engineering drawings, operate a range of toolroom machinery, maintain job paperwork through an ERP system, and contribute ideas to improve methods, efficiency and output.
This role would suit a Toolmaker / Toolroom Machinist who enjoys varied hands-on work, wants stability, and is looking for a company that will support your development and help you do the job properly.
The Role:
Manufacture precision tooling/components to engineering drawings
Operate toolroom equipment: milling, turning, grinding, wire EDM and spark erosion
2 weeks days (Mon-Thu 7:00-15:30, Fri 7:00-12:30) then 2 weeks nights (Mon-Wed 15:30-02:00, Thu 15:30-23:30)
Maintain works orders/paperwork through an ERP system and follow GMP/GDP procedures
Overtime available when required (Mon-Sat x1.5, Sun x2)The Person:

Confident working from engineering drawings with good attention to detail
