Tool Engineer
Salary: £34,000 per annum (including shift allowance)
Hours
Rotating shifts:
* Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
* Week 2: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
The Role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Tool Engineer to support the manufacture, maintenance and repair of production tooling within a busy engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair tooling.
* Carry out preventative maintenance.
* Support production during tooling breakdowns.
* Diagnose tooling issues.
* Work from engineering drawings.
* Maintain high quality standards.
Requirements
Essential
* Previous Tool Engineering or Toolmaking experience.
* Engineering or manufacturing background.
* Strong fault-finding ability.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
