We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner with strong leadership skills and substantial nursery experience to play a key role in delivering outstanding early years education and care.
What We Offer
Full-time position with 35-40 hours per week
Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 - £18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the toddler room, ensuring high standards of care and education
Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Support children's emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development
Mentor and support room staff to maintain best practice
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Maintain accurate observations, assessments, and children's records
Essential Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (CACHE, NVQ, Diploma, or equivalent) - Mandatory
Minimum of 5 years' experience working within a nursery setting - Mandatory
Experience leading a room or supervising staff is highly desirable
Level 5 qualification in Early Years or Leadership - Preferred
Previous professional childcare experience - Mandatory
Minimum of 24 months of referenceable employment history - Mandatory
Professional references must be provided from company/professional email addresses only - Mandatory
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
