Activus Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Timber Frame Designer to join our clients established house building company based near Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire.
This role will involve:
• Liaising with architects & engineers to provide excellent customer service.
• Preparing timber kit design drawings for client review and approval.
• Liaising with our truss & joist manufacturers.
• Generating cutting lists and schedules for factory manufacture and onsite construction.
• Ensuring design drawings comply with all relevant building standards and HSE requirements.
• Quantifying stock material for the manufacture of timber kits.
• Help to coordinate productivity in the factory and work closely with our manufacturing team.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of CAD and all other relevant computer design software.
The candidate must also have previous experience of designing timber frame kits, and be able to work well as part of a team as well as being self-motivated.
This role is a permanent full-time position with the salary negotiable depending on the candidate's level experience
