TIG Welding role

Description:

Role – TIG Welding position
Location – Norfolk
Working hours – Full time hours – Monday to Friday
Capacity of role – Permanent
Salary – £16.00 – £17.50 per hour

Our client is seeking a TIG welder to join their busy workshop team. Candidates will need to have worked in a similar position and will be confident with working Stainless steel.

Main duties will include –
 Setting up and preparing welding equipment
 Reading welding engineering drawings to ensure accurate welds
 Operating TIG welding machinery with precision and to specification
 Conducting visual inspections and quality checks, performing repairs or rework as needed
 Reporting any defects to management
 Using various hand and power tools to ensure all products are up to company standards.

Candidate Attributes –

 Previous welding experience working on stainless steel
 Ability to fabricate
 Happy to work overtime as and when required.
