My client is a leading manufacturer specialising in aluminium products located in the city of Birmingham. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Tig Welder Fabricator to join the team.
Position Overview:
As a Tig Welder Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the welding of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Tig welding techniques and be proficient in fabricating metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities:
" Perform Tig welding operations on various metal components, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to specifications.
" Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to fabricate parts accurately.
" Set up and operate welding equipment, including Tig welding machines and associated tools.
" Inspect welded joints and metal components for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed.
" Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
" Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
" Proven experience as a Tig Welder Fabricator in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
" Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, with the ability to weld various metals, including stainless steel and mainly aluminium.
" Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
" Ability to operate Tig welding equipment and related tools effectively.
" Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
" Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
" Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in welding and fabrication.
" Relevant welding certifications or qualifications are advantageous.
