We’re currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy engineering business based in Ferndown.
The role
As a TIG Welder, you’ll be carrying out high-quality TIG welding work to engineering drawings and production specifications. The role will involve working with a variety of materials and components depending on workload and customer requirements.
You’ll be expected to maintain strong quality standards while working efficiently as part of the wider manufacturing team.
Day-to-day responsibilities
TIG welding to engineering drawings and specifications
Producing high-quality welds to required standards
Working with fabricated and engineered components
Carrying out self-inspection of completed work
Supporting wider production and manufacturing activities where required
Maintaining a safe and organised working environmentWhat they’re looking for
Previous experience working as a TIG Welder
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Good attention to detail and quality standards
Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Reliable and able to work effectively within a teamDesirable experience:
Fabrication experience
Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, or thin gauge materials
Background within precision engineering or manufacturingWhat’s on offer
