Are you an experienced TIG welder / fabricator who wants to work for an established company with ongoing growth?
Job Description:
Assemble materials, according to work instructions and Quality Control all fabricated parts, before assembly.
Clamped, measured, and aligned correctly metal parts prior to welding.
Inspected completed work product for any defects.
Worked within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Responsible for the use of various tools and equipment in the fabrication, assemble and erection of metal parts.
Responsible for maintaining production deadlines.
Learning skills to manufacture stainless steel products through various production techniques including operating different machinery and tools.
Raising issues to Team Leaders in a timely manner.
Perform thorough quality checks prior and after assembly of the goods.
Ensure all quality data gathering has been accomplished through out day.
Perform regular stock checks and audits of the production area and update the inventory records accordingly.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with Team Leaders, colleagues and other departments.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Team Leader, MTL or Production Manager. Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Previous proven experience in MIG / TIG Welding is a MUST
Welding thickness of 0.8mm
Experience in a strict quality regime environment is required.
NFF - No Fault Forward attitude.
Understanding and executing KPI targets.
5s understanding and mindset towards it.
Great attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to follow instructions.
Good customer service and problem-solving skills.
Flexible and adaptable, and willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime, as needed. Additional Details:
Hours - 6am - 2:15pm - Monday - Friday
Hourly rate - up to £16p/h DOE
