TIG Welder, £16.00 per hour, Temp to Perm, Central Belt
Benefits
* £21.00 per hour
* Temp-to-permanent opportunity
* Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 2:30pm
* Overtime and weekend work available, paid at 1.5x the standard hourly rate
* IPAF training available for candidates with scissor lift experience who require further development
Responsibilities
* Travel to client sites to fabricate, install, and fit steel structures
* Cut, shape, assemble, and fit components using steel, aluminium, and carbon steel
* Join and fabricate metal sections to precise specifications
* Carry out steel erecting duties safely and efficiently
* Complete fencing repairs and general site maintenance work as required
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Requirements
* Proven fabrication background with strong all-round engineering skills
* Experience working with steel, aluminium, and carbon steel
* IPAF certification is required
* Experience operating a scissor lift is desirable; training can be provided
* CSCS card is beneficial but not essential
* Ability to work independently, travel to client sites, and deliver high-quality workmanship
* Flexible approach to overtime and occasional weekend working
