TIG Welder - Temp to Perm Contract to start ASAP!
Location: Banbury
Salary: £30K to £32K (DOE)
Hours of Work: 7.00am – 4.00pm – Mon – Thurs + Fri 7.00am – 2.00pm (40.5hrs) plus overtime
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled TIG welder to join a busy engineering team in Banbury. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in component wiring and assembly. The ideal candidate will be reliable, precise, and able to work efficiently in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
* TIG welding on stainless steel (2-5mm gauge)
* Basic fabrication work
* Working with thin gauge stainless steel (2-5mm)
* Welding kitchen-grade equipment and ventilation systems
* Maintaining high standards of quality and precision
* All work is shop floor based
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a similar TIG welding position
* Experience working within the fabrication industry
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
