TIG & MMA Welders
Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station - Somerset
Potential gross earnings of over £113,000*

Mactech have opportunities for Welders experienced in both TIG and MMA for Cavendish Nuclear (part of MEH Alliance) at Hinkley Point C, the UK's largest infrastructure construction project.
Pay Rates
£29.34/hr - Dayshift
£35.94/hr - Nightshift
£41.08/hr - OT1
£52.82/hr - OT2
10 days on / 4 days off

Accommodation allowance: £53.39 /per day (£373.73 / per week)
Suitable candidates will have a background in high integrity pipe and structural welding and the following:
Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Welding/Fabrication or
Welding Apprenticeship
ACE Card (Pipe or Plate Welding) or
Minimum 5 years' welding experience in a relevant industry (oil & gas, nuclear, power, petrochemical, marine, shipbuilding, chemical, refinery, etc.)
CCNSG Safety Passport (can be obtained prior to start)
Starts are subject to vetting, onboarding and completion all of the following weld tests:
SWQ-02 Butt Weld - 2" carbon steel pipe weld - 6G position (All TIG)
SWQ-04 Butt Weld - 2" stainless steel pipe weld - 6G position (All TIG)
SWQ 19 Box to Plate multi pass - carbon steel - PH position (TIG)
SWQ 22 Box to Plate multi pass - stainless steel - PH position (TIG)
SWQ-70 Box to Plate - structural steel - horizontal position (MMA)
In addition to the above, you will also be required to do an ECITB skills/trade test prior to your induction.
