Position: Theatre Team Leader - NMC / HCPC qualified
Service: General Hospital
Care: Theatre - Urology, Gynae and general
Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 per annum - negotiable depending on experience
Hours: Full time 37.5

About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to work as a Theatre Team Leader joining a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based on the outskirts of Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Theatre Team Leader to lead their friendly and passionate theatre team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including urology, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The theatre team are passionate about the high-quality care they provide and we are looking for a driven Theatre Team Leader to lead the team on a permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Theatre Team Leader and will be responsible for:

Lead the department and deputise the Theatre Manager
Provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention
Supporting the management and taking on the roles of Anaesthetics and Recovery
Lead the team in the development of knowledge
Provide ideas and work practice to improve quality and maintain high standards of theatre practice
Who we're looking for

Be HCPC / NMC registered-  your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 2 years theatre experience in Urology, Gynae and General surgery
SFA Qualification Desirable
Experience of clinical leadership is essential
Ability to train and motivate staff
