Description:

Stroud Resourcing is recruiting for a Theatre Manager (RGN/ODP) to join a welcoming and ambitious private hospital based in West London. This is a full-time role offering a salary of £60,000 and an excellent benefits package.

It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining this hospital as they’re investing significantly in their Theatre department and have plans to go from a day-case facility to offering overnight services. Its Theatre department currently incorporates 1 state-of-the-art theatres and 4 recovery bays, but they have ambitious growth plans. They offer a variety of surgical services including dermatology, gynaecology, ENT, urology, general, orthopaedics, plastics, minor biopsy, and joint injections. They are proud to have a Good CQC rating and high levels of patient satisfaction.
 
In this Theatre Management role, you can expect to:

With a grounding in governance and focus on patient care, ensure the theatre team deliver excellent services to your patients and ensure high levels of patient safety.
With a highly visible approach, you will forge positive strong relationships with the management team, clinical leads, consultants, and wider workforce and be encouraged to grow and develop the services. A key focus over the next 12 months will be supporting the theatre department move from a day case to overnight facility.
Through developing strong relationships with the theatre team, cultivate a positive, collaborative, and forward-thinking culture and bring the team on board with future developments to the department.
Employee engagement and retention must be high on your agenda.
Ensure the department is fully utilised and compliant with all regulatory requirements required.To apply for this Operating Theatre Manager role, you must be a qualified RGN (with current NMC registration) or ODP (with current HCPC registration) with previous experience managing or supervising theatre teams. We welcome applications from the Private Sector and NHS. We also welcome applications from experienced Deputy Theatre Managers and Theatre Team Leaders looking to progress into a Theatre Management role.
