Salary: £28,000 per annum

ReeVR Talent are currently looking for a Test Technician to join our clients busy manufacturing team. This is a hands on Test Technician role involves the mechanical and electrical inspection and testing of components, sub-assemblies and finished products.

Key Responsibilities for the Test Technician

Carry out mechanical and electrical inspection and testing throughout the manufacturing process.
Inspect incoming components, sub-assemblies and finished products to required standards.
Accurately complete test, inspection and sign-off documentation.
Read and interpret CAD and technical drawings.
Support investigations into internal and customer concerns, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.
Maintain accurate test and inspection reports and KPI information.
Follow company health & safety, environmental and 5S procedures.
Support risk assessments and continuous improvement activities.Skills & Experience for the Test Technician

Previous experience in a testing or inspection role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Good understanding of mechanical and electrical testing and measurement techniques.
Knowledge of metrology is desirable.
Experience with specialist mechanical/electrical testing would be advantageous.
Able to accurately read and interpret technical drawings.
Good problem-solving, communication and time management skills.
Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience creating test and inspection reports and documentation.
Knowledge of A3 or 8D problem-solving would be beneficial.
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and Lean/5S methodologies would be advantageous.
