Description:
An opportunity for a Test Manager / Team Leader has arisen to join a supplier of engine systems. The role will oversee an expanding team and you will play an intergral role setting out best practices. We require someone with at least 5 years experience in testing / development.
Test Manager / Test Team Leader key responsilbies
• Develop standardised testing documentation
• Present designated trials and testing activities.
• Apply knowledge, skill and experience in order to resolve issues and faults associated with the operation and performance of Systems.
• Be able to work with technical autonomy and provide advice and guidance to other technical staff.
• Promote awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental, Integrity & Quality aspects of discipline of work to achieve fit-for-purpose engineering
• Operate Safe Systems of Work that comply with the company HSE procedures at all times.
• Previous experience as a Testing Engineer/ Project Engineer/ Controls Engineer/Commissioning Engineer
• Previous experience running test rigs, Engine dyno’s or other would be advantageous
• Experience working with pressure equipment would be advantageous
• It would be advantageous to be multi-disciplined (Mechanical/electrical/controls)
• An individual who is exceptionally organised with the ability to manage concurrent projects
