Data Test Manager / QA Lead
Telford (Hybrid - 2 days onsite a month)
6-month contract with extension potential
Active SC Clearance required
We are looking for an experienced Data Test Manager / QA Lead to provide quality assurance governance across a portfolio of complex data and technology projects. You will be responsible for ensuring testing standards, best practices, and quality processes are consistently applied throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and review Test Strategies and Test Completion Reports
Provide test governance and quality assurance across multiple projects
Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and issues
Support and mentor Test Leads and QA Engineers
Drive continuous improvement and best practice adoption
Work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
Contribute to resource planning, recruitment, and capability developmentRequired Experience:
Proven Test Manager or QA Lead experience
Strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience delivering test governance across large, complex programmes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong risk and quality management experienceExperience within data, analytics, or data warehouse environments is highly desirable.
