We are searching for a seasoned Test Manager to spearhead our testing endeavours. The ideal candidate will be tasked with crafting and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to uphold the quality, dependability, and efficiency of the integration engine.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain thorough test strategies, plans, and test cases for the Trust Integration Engine.
* Collaborate with suppliers, connected system owners, and cross-functional teams, including developers, to comprehend requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
* Devise and execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the integration engine.
* Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools, collaborating with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
* Manage the testing process across the software development life cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment.
* Monitor and report on testing progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.
* Continuously enhance the testing process by recognizing and implementing best practices and tools.
* Mentor and guide junior testers, nurturing a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
* 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role.
* Experience testing NHS systems.
* Profound understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
* Experience with testing web services.
* Proficiency in crafting and executing manual and automated test cases.
* Familiarity with test automation tools.
* Knowledge of defect tracking tools.
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
* ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
* Experience in Healthcare and Life Sciences is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with testing of HL7 messages is also desirable but not essential.

This is an outside IR35 contract role, offering competitive remuneration of approximately £(Apply online only) per day.
