Test Lead.
We need a contract Test Lead for 6 months starting ASAP.
ROLE. As the Test Lead you will be responsible for conducting a Test Lead role while setting up and leading a small team of testers, for developing and executing test cases and test scripts in line with requirements, identifying and tracking defects, and working collaboratively with Scrum teams and third-party technical and business stakeholders to contribute to project successes within defined timelines.

Start Date: ASAP.
Duration: 6 months.
Rate: c £600 - £635 per day **IN SCOPE OF IR35 ***.
Location: Remote working (but must be UK based).
DUTIES
Working on a Target Operating Model project
Work with Business Analysts to understand tasks and advise estimated time.
Identify and track defects.
Liaise with business stakeholders to support UAT testing.
Working as a Test Lead while establishing the test function. covering test planning, tooling, governance and reporting.
SKILLS
Experience as a hands-on Test Lead
Have established a testing function
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
Proficient in designing and executing test cases and scripts
Defect logging and management experience
Ability to work at a senior level, including leading a small team of testers
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
Ideally MHHS experience, if not that then Metering/Settlement, or Energy Utilities industry experience (Electrical)
