A large manufacturing company in the Colchester area, are looking for a Graduate Test Engineer to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be testing products right from the production line, ensuring they operate as expected. An eye for detail and a passion for electronics and engineering is a must to succeed in this role, along with being forward thinking, self-motivated and willing to learn. Duties:
Testing of new and existing products
Fault finding down to component level
Maintain test records and results in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal procedures
Produce detailed reports of new products
Develop test processes and procedures for production testing.
Create C++ software applications for engineering and production test
Soldering cables or connectors used for testing, replacing missing or faulty components
To be considered for this exciting Graduate Test Engineer role, you will need the following experience:
Qualification in engineering, ideally with a high electronic content
Use of test equipment, DMMs, Network analysers, ATE, oscilloscopes
Able to fault find to component level
Testing and recording data on a range of products and assemblies
Able to create software to test applications
