This is a fantastic opportunity to join a National Facilities Management company at one of their prestigious clients' sites based in Barrow in Furness who are experiencing significant growth.

Salary: £27k plus overtime and on-call (1/4 - £75p/w) plus excellent benefits.

Location: Barrow in Furness

Hours of work: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Role Responsibilities:

Perform all portable appliance testing on site in accordance with client Maintenance Instructions (MIs) and site procedures.
Light changing, emergency light testing and general electrical support.
Provide accurate feedback and complete relevant documentation.
Perform minor maintenance activities as required. Where required, training will be provided.
To support with undertaking monthly emergency lighting inspections along with monthly defib checks.

The successful candidate:

Preferably to have / undergo explosives and R.A. training.
The candidate must demonstrate practical knowledge and experience of relevant Safety, Health and Environmental requirements and the ability to show an experience in PPM systems is advantageous.
Ability to display a good level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills, and be of good temperament, polite and courteous.
The individual should be willing to perform overtime as required and must display and ability to work as a team player, with a flexible working attitude assisting where competent, with other trades.
