PH1623 – Territory Account Manager – Food Wholesale to Foodservice

Location – London

Salary – 40K (50K OTE) Car allowance, Full company benefits.

The Company:

We are a multimillion pounds turnover wholesaler with a strong, long standing presence within the Foodservice sector.

Although recent years have presented unique and challenging times for the hospitality sector we are still committed to moving forward with exciting long term plans to coincide with when the Foodservice sector rebuilds.

Across the sector re are renowned for the strength of our product range which combines core line areas with a range of premium products.

Our range is known for moving with the times and via effective and continued innovative procurement, we are also able to supply a comprehensive range of on trend, gluten free and vegan products.

The strength of our business has been built on foundations of excellent service levels and although price competitive within the market it is this client focus which has enabled us to develop a loyal customer base within Foodservice.

We are particular adept at servicing restaurants, bar, hotel, leisure, pub and coffee shop chains.

Due to continued growth plans we are seeking to appoint a new Managing Director to drive the business forward by implementing our core values and strategies through the team.

The role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop an area with strong potential for excellent growth.

You will inherit an account base of existing customers predominantly across gastro pub, bar, restaurant and hotel areas, although our range is extensive and suitable for most foodservice end users.

You will inherit an existing account base of trading customers, many of which still have strong growth potential, but will also be targeted with locating and developing new clients.

The contact level within our customer base is varied and includes Executive Chefs, Chefs, owners and buyers.

The Applicant:

We are seeking to speak to candidates with a strong background in Foodservice passionate about quality products and excellent service.

* Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales to Foodservice end users.

* Candidates with experience working within Foodservice wholesale will be of particular interest.

* Experience in Fine Food sales will be advantageous.

* Candidates must be team players and passionate about quality food produce
