Location: Leicester
Hours: 17 hours per week
Hourly Rate: 17-19hr via umbrella
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Tenancy Sustainment Worker to join our team at a social housing provider based in Leicester. In this role, you will provide essential support to vulnerable adults, helping them manage their tenancies and maintain stable housing.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Support: Provide guidance and assistance to residents to help them sustain their tenancies, addressing any issues that may arise.
Housing Management: Assist residents with housing-related matters, including understanding their tenancy agreements, managing rent payments, and addressing housing concerns.
Individual Consultations: Conduct one-on-one consultations with residents to assess their needs and develop personalised support plans.
Resource Coordination: Connect residents with relevant services and resources, such as financial advice, health services, and community support.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support during emergencies or crises to help residents maintain their housing stability.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor residents' progress, adjusting support plans as needed to ensure continued tenancy sustainment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant Experience: Experience in a similar role, such as Housing Officer, Tenancy Support Worker, or Housing Support Worker.
Empathy & Communication Skills: Strong ability to empathise with vulnerable individuals and communicate effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions to support residents.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
