Job Title Temporary Works Co-ordinator
Summary We’re looking for an experienced Temporary Works Co-ordinator to manage the design, delivery and implementation of temporary works. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge and a collaborative approach, who can ensure compliance and high standards across all temporary works activities.
Location and Working Pattern Location: NZT Teesside (middlesbrough)
Working pattern: On-site
Client Overview Our client is a leading construction and infrastructure organisation known for delivering innovative and complex projects. They have a strong focus on safety, quality and sustainability across every aspect of their work.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with all parties involved in the design and construction of temporary works.
Liaise with clients to determine if schemes impact the public and manage approval processes.
Compile and regularly update Temporary Works Schedules and review with designers and project leads.
Ensure that an adequate Temporary Works design is produced and approved.
Supervise and assess the competence of Temporary Works Supervisors alongside the Project Lead.
Review the design brief for adequacy before issuing it to the designer.
Monitor the timing of designs, checks and construction to align with project schedules.
Oversee inspections and ensure temporary works are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.Must-have Requirements
Relevant experience in temporary works to match the type and complexity of the assigned project.
Completion of an industry-approved Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) training course, or an equivalent update/refresher course.
Knowledge of Temporary Works procedures and the ability to implement them effectively.
Evidence of competence through recent training, knowledge and experience within the last 2 years.Nice-to-have Skills
Formal qualifications such as HNC or Degree (desirable but not essential).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
