TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATOR

DEWSBURY

£400-£450 per day PAYE/ Umbrella

18-month contract (3-5 years’ worth of work)

Are you a Temporary Works Coordinator interested in an exciting opportunity working on a rail civil engineering project? If so, keep reading. 

The Company 

Our client, a Tier 1 Contractor in the UK are currently offering an excellent opportunity for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join them on a long-term assignment on a rail civils project in the West Yorkshire area.

The Role
As a Temporary Works Coordinator on this project, you’ll be involved in a very exciting and long-term Rail project that will ensure you have a long-term contract assignment for several years! Acting as TWC, you’ll be working alongside some top engineering professionals! 

About you
We are interested in hearing from Site Engineers, Section Engineers, Sub Agents, and Site Agents who are looking to step into a role focusing on Temporary Works on a freelance basis so if that sounds like you, give me a call!

Whilst it isn’t an absolute necessity, it would be very advantageous to have the following:

Previous experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on a project of a similar scale and complexity.
Current CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
Working knowledge of Temporary work management procedures, particularly BS:5975.
Experience in design and/or engineering management.
A degree in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable.
Proven knowledge of Rail standards and approval processes is highly advantageous.
Working knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations, especially the Designer and Principal contractor roles.
Chartership or incorporation with IStructE, ICE, or other appropriate professional body.
