Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to join a specialist site team on a 4-month borehole investigation project at RAF Brize Norton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Temporary Works professional with a strong background in civil engineering, geotechnical works, ground investigation, drilling, or infrastructure projects to support the safe planning, coordination, and implementation of temporary works activities on a high-profile defence sector scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all temporary works activities in accordance with BS 5975.
Ensure temporary works are properly designed, reviewed, approved, and implemented.
Maintain the Temporary Works Register and associated documentation.
Liaise with site management, engineers, designers, and subcontractors.
Monitor compliance with temporary works procedures and best practice.
Conduct inspections and ensure temporary works are installed and removed safely.
Support the delivery of borehole and ground investigation works across the project.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC).
Temporary Works Coordinator training/certification.
Experience within civil engineering, groundworks, geotechnical, drilling, or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of BS 5975 and temporary works procedures.
SMSTS preferred.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to obtain and work within a secure MOD environment.
Desirable
Previous experience on MOD, aviation, defence, or secure infrastructure projects.
Ground investigation or borehole project experience.
First Aid and CSCS qualifications
