Description:
Abatec is working with industry leaders in delivering one of the UK’s biggest projects in Plymouth, Devon. We are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Engineer on a freelance basis, with a background in Civil Engineering.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working on major projects and will be responsible for supporting the project by coordinating temporary work designs.
As a Temporary Works Coordinator you will:
* Produce and coordinate temporary works designs and checks for projects
* Manage external and internal TW designs
* Produce design RAMS and review suppliers RAMS
* Raise RFI’s and answer RFI’s from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Specify and monitor temporary work schemes
* Produce outline ITPs
Our client requires a Bid Manager with:
* HND/Degree qualified or similar
* CSCS, TWC
* Experience of working in a similar position on civil engineering projects
* Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Salary/Benefits:
* £500 - £550 PAYE / Umbrella
